Yup, I’m ACTUALLY late this time. lots of show already started today, but I had a really busy week and V2 just came out. >_< And, I was hoping for some better shows so I could actually look forward to something. Err…there’s nothing to look forward to tbh. So yes, the summer season is pretty bland, and I am not excited for any shows whatsoever…to be blunt. So, since I’m late, and not really excited, I really am not in the mood to do a real post for the summer season. Hence, this lazy, very short version. >_<

Upcoming Shows

To be honest I don’t think there are going to be any shows that I’ll most likely stick to til the end, but I’m willing to give several shows a shot by checking out the first episodes.

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi is one of the shows I’m willing to try out. It looks pretty interesting the more I look at it. Like everyone else said, the main lead looks like an older Taiga. xDD That was the reason it caught my eye, but the premise itself look’s decent enough to try out. I’m not too sure how the male lead is going to work out, but I guess I’ll have to check it out to see…

And…Kanae Ito is voicing such a cute character!! I have to see that. :DD I mean…Kanae Ito!! xDD Her character kinda looks like a mini Minorin too, so that’s a plus. ^o^

Shiki also initially caught my eye since Gackt is voicing, but after looking at the premise, it also sounds interesting. :DD It just sounds pretty mysterious and thrilling. XD I’m not sure how long I will likely watch it, but I’m going to at least check it out.

Kyou, Koi o Hajimemasu OVA looked interesting initially, but now I’m not really sure…I thought I’d look forward to it, but after looking at reviews for the manga, I have lots of doubts. But as I read more responses, it seems like it’s a love/hate kind of show. And it is still a typical shoujo, but who knows. X) It’s only an OVA so it won’t hurt to check it out.

Let’s see, another show I’ll most likely check out is…Kuroshitsuji 2 just because I kind of want to see how they’ll make it work. :/

So what’s the plan?

I’m probably going to stick to watching my KwMS! weekly.  It’s the only show I’m still following with my hectic schedule. >_<” After checking out Ookami-san, I might end up watching it weekly as well though. I just have to watch a few more episodes to know. I really want to catch up on Hakuouki, and finish up Durarara!! I also want to catch up on Arakawa Under the Bridge, and Working!!, but I really don’t think any of this is happening unless I miraculously finish my homework faster. xDD

Nothing really is being blogged at the moment since summer is even more hectic than school for me right now. “orz I planned too much into my summer. I still have to open up my little online store, which, I’ve already started working on. Also, the summer season really isn’t worth blogging, so that works out…? XDD

Spring 2010

So here are shows that caught my interest, though I might check out the first episode for some that aren’t even listed down here. I really won’t be blogging much because I’m still busy. Dx Probably just first impressions. If I do blog, it’s most likely going to be either just one series, or Random Anime. If there are any mistakes (since I have plenty of them) feel free to point them out. Most of the information is from MyAnimeList and/or the chart (credit: chartfag), and being the lazy girl I am, the summaries are copied and pasted from MAL. orz. So here are the shows in no particular order.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!!

Kyaa~ Probably the most anticipated show for me. >w< I barely read the manga, but I always saw clips of it, my friends always told me about it, and so I began liking it from that. I did read some chapters myself, so…yes. Anyways, I was skeptical about the anime from that first scan we got awhile back, but after seeing the trailer, I got excited for it again. Misaki actually doesn’t look too bad. It’s Usui I’m worried about. =.= Couldn’t they make him…better looking? Well, I guess maybe because it’s anime, but still…

Watching? Oh yes. =w=

Angel Beats!

In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers.

Seriously, the show sounds awesome to me. X3 Plus, it’s Key’s next anime. Key is already practically an automatic watch all on its own. And having an awesome summary, animation, and character designs just won me over. I really don’t know much about the show itself, but I am looking forward to it.

Set in a family restaurant in Hokkaido, the northern prefecture of Japan, 16 year old high school student Takanashi Souta works part-time along with his strange co-workers: Taneshima Popura, a high school girl who’s a year older than Souta who’s easily mistaken for a elementary/middle schooler, and Shirafuji Kyoko, the 28-year old store manager who doesn’t bother to do any work at all.

I already watched the first episode, so of course I’m interested. xDD It didn’t look too bad to be honest. The character designs are really nice, and it seems like a nice show to relax or eat ice cream to. I just find Poplar (Popura?) so adorable so far, even though I don’t know too much about her to judge her actual character. I don’t know, I’m fond of characters who don’t look their age since I’m in the same situation, lol. So anyways, the show looks good so far, so I’d like to continue checking it out. Now about Souta being a lolicon…>_>

Watching? Most likely when I can. Probably marathon it randomly, haha.

Arakawa Under the Bridge

I really no nothing about the rest of the shows, including this one. Just going by what I’ve read as a summary and pictures, it looks interesting. I’d like to check it out, since it looks pretty unique, different, and as I’ve said before before, interesting. For some reason I get the same type of animation vibe as One Piece and Fairy Tail. Especially One Piece because I see a guy with a star for a head. ._.”

Mayoi Neko Overrun!

The story revolves around Takumi Tsuzuki, a boy who lives with his older “sister” Otome, although the two have no blood ties between them. Otome manages a run-down confectionery store called Stray Cats. One day, Otome picks up a mysterious beautiful girl off the streets.

This show looks cute. Yep, cute, light, and fluffy, which is why I’m going to check it out. I don’t know, it just seems like another fun light hearted series I could just relax to watching. Sounds a bit like Chobits, but it has to do with cats…so I have no idea where it’s heading. Oh well.

I have no idea why I put this. -____-||| I just…did. I didn’t really want to, but something about it took my interest. I just want to see the first episode, really. I’m not expecting to like it, but I was going to a thread in MAL about it, and it got me convinced to at least give it a chance and try to check it out. By the way, the post is right here. Other than that, I’m not really sure about the animations, it seems very…old school western cartoon-ish. Oh, and I checked out the trailer…the guy talks wayyy to fast. O.o

Hakuouki

The protagonist, Yukimura Chizuru is the daughter of a doctor who works in Edo. The father leaves Edo to work as a volunteer doctor and moves to Kyoto without his daughter. As time passes by, Chizuru starts worrying about losing contact with her father, so she decides to go to Kyoto in search of him. On the way, Chizuru is attacked by few criminals and witnesses a fight between an oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody and saving her, the Shinsengumi debate on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. So they decide to become Chizuru’s protectors and help her look for her father(the doctor). Lots of events happen while she stays with the Shingensumi, as they discover mysterious secrets and also fight against the Bakumatsu group. The story is overall romantic with a historical and political background.

Whoaa…long summary. Anyways, I’m actually really looking forward to this show. I’m not usually into the historical stuff, but this show has samurais!! XDD And the Shinsengumi! Yup, based on what I usually watch, it seems so out of place for me to be excited over this show. Then again though, this is based off of an otome game. So maybe it isn’t too far off since there seems to be some romance in there? Anyways, I’m actually looking forward to the action of the series more than the romance *shockgasp!* but that’s a nice bonus to it, and it might change as I watch. I guess the excitement stems from my love of Rurouni Kenshin? I don’t know much about the series, so I can’t say if it is similar, though it just reminds me of the show, haha. Plus, the samurais are bishies. Never mind, they’re the creepy bishies (they look nothing like the pictures!), oh well. Whoa, long thought paragraph to go with long summary, haha.

Watching? Oh yes.

Ketsuinu and B Gata H Kei: Wtf? Are you serious?

I was looking through the shows and I noticed that Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru sounded pretty good, and I was about the put that up, until I realized it was shounen-ai (not really into shounen-ai >_>). So that’s why I ask…why does there always have to be a catch? D:< Then again though, it might be a good thing I’m not interested. If I were, I’d have to remember that title. OwO

I was also going to put Senko no Night Raid, which I am pretty interested in also (why didn’t I put it up there then…I don’t know), but I’m not really into historical, like I said before. Plus, I’m kinda worried how they might portray Chinese…? That was probably the main reason I didn’t put it up–the different country portrayals. But I still will most definitely give it a shot.

Haiyoru Nyaru-Ani also caught my interest with the picture, but after the summary that it’d be from Flash, I got turned off. Flash cartoons don’t really look that great, in fact, most “cartoons” I see from flash that still try to look like anime and not a chibi, look really unbearable to me. DX Plus, the summary said that it’d just gags, so I was just like, “Never mind then.”

Yup, so that’s it. Anyways, I thought there were more shows I’d be interested in, but I guess not. We’ll have to see though. Maybe I’ll check something out that I didn’t plan to from reading a blog post, I don’t know. xD

So late!! Everything is already on episode 2. Dx Anyways, first impressions on the Winter season. Tbh, no shows really impressed me. I’m not hooked on any show. I’ll follow a few because they seem like they’ll get better, but no real one to squeal about. I’ll probably continue to follow the Fall shows. However, the one thing that does appeal to me this season are the numerous amounts of wonderful BGM. So I’ll be looking forward to tons of OSTs. :D

Hanamaru Kindergarten

It was definitely a cute and hilarious light hearted series. It was a lot more enjoyable then I expected (because I expected to just plain dislike it, haha). I have to say sometimes Anzu sometimes annoys me but I guess it’s inevitable. I love her friend Hii-chan (too lazy to remember her whole name). She’s just so calmly cool, and her neko costume is adorable. The different EDs are also very nice, and the main guy isn’t that bad. He doesn’t get on my nerves, so…he’s okay in my book.

So-Ra-No-Wo-To

I have to admit I was going to first say I was plain bored with it and didn’t like it. However, after I decided to watch the rest today (I watched it yesterday with distractions), I have to say it’s actually interesting so far! I like it so far. It has a different vibe than usual and it has a very interesting concept to it. Though I still think there are some K-On! rip offs, it’s already a lot more interesting than K-On!. I’m not a slice of life kind of person, because it usually bores me, but so far it seems like there’s more to it. Also, the BGMs are absolutely beautiful. I love the French BGM. The art for the landscape is also done impressively.

Dance in the Vampire Bund

Hmm…because I’ve never read the manga so far, I’m at a clean slate with it. I have to admit the beginning was boring with the game show, but it started getting interesting when I saw Mina. I’d like to see what’s going to happen in the future. It looks somewhat interesting…However, I’ve heard that it’s straying from the manga, so I’m afraid if that’ll be for the worse or for the better. I have a feeling it’ll be the former, but I guess we’ll have to wait? It was categorized as romance, so I hope to see some romance soon. Even though by the looks of it, it’ll be some boring romance.

Durarara!!

Uwah, one of the most anticipated by the season and I’m sure it doesn’t disappoint. I was searching so much for it, but I finally just watched it on crunchyroll. My favorite music of the season no doubt. As for the series, it has that mysterious feel and pulls off the urban feel really well. I really hope to see more revealed because right now I have no idea what to expect and what’s going on. XD But it looks good, and that’s good enough for me to continue. The characters are likable, and Kida is really a great friend character at the moment. So far Mikado seems quite the average character, so I hope to see lots of development. Overall, it’s really good, filled with awesome, and could possibly be one of my favorites for this season as well.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Surprisingly enjoyable. Um…one of my favorite first impressions? I’d hate to admit that it’s one of my favs this season and I don’t know why. It just kept my attention the whole way through and it was pretty interesting and funny. So I liked it. It has an interesting concept that reminds me of a video game, though not quite. The chibis are so adorable! >w< The characters aren’t special, but they don’t get on my nerves either. Traps are awesome, pervert is hilarious, and I guess it’s just plain fun to watch. So maybe now I know why I liked it so much.

Ookami Kakushi

Lol this is exactly why I want to push her off a cliff. Is she rubbing her butt on him?

One of the biggest disappointments this season. Hiro is plain boring. I’d like to slap Isuzu off a cliff for being such a w***e. And the only characters I’m actually okay with are Nemuru (actually, she’s pretty awesome), the God which I’m pretty sure is Nemuru, and Kaname. Everyone else…blergh. The class is way too happy it’s suspicious as well. The only interesting thing was when over-happy-guy died. XD

Anyways, I’m most likely going to follow Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, Durarara!!, and Sora no Woto. I’ll also occasionally check out Hanamaru Kindergarten. So I’ll catch up on my Fall series when I can to follow more. I don’t know if I’ll blog any of these series, I’ll probably just go back to Kimi ni Todoke and try to blog YumePati once I catch up. And if any Winter shows I find are worth blogging I will. Or I’ll do random episodes that I want to blog. XD I’m still pretty unorganized.

Hmm, a pretty nice, light-hearted calm episode. The art went down again however. *Sigh* I miss the early episode’s art. There were some parts where Kazehaya looked almost totally different. Nonetheless, it was still an enjoyable, happy episode. :3

Thoughts

Suspicious too-nice flowery background! Well, we finally get to focus more on Kurumi, and right from the start her personality and atmosphere is pretty suspicious. I think having Aya Hirano as her seiyuu helps though. xDD

O_o Umm…what? I pretty much had the same reaction as Sawako when I saw this. It’s so out of the blue, but it has this sort of mean tinge to it as well. :/

Aww, poor Sawako. To be honest, when I first saw the hands going towards Sawako, I thought it was some sexual assault. xDD Turns out it was just some creepy girl touching her…? Still don’t get it though, it’s just pretty creepy.

So cute~! I’m so happy for Sawako. She has more friends now, and her reactions are just so adorable. X3

Ahh! I love the overly dramatized name referring scenes (did that make sense?). It’s just so cute to watch them try to say their names, and it shows just how much they’ve developed. So I had this small grin watching Sawako try to call everyone by their first names. Ah~ if only it was like this in the U.S.

It seems like in this episode Sawako is blushing and looking at Kazehaya a lot more. It’s cute watching her though.

Lol. They’re so much alike. xDD Getting so fired up, haha.

XDD Aww, even though she missed, she missed it adorably. It was funny though. Don’t worry Sawako, you’ll make it! >:D Ganbatte, Sawako!

More shipping moments. X) I loved how he just got so distracted and smiled so warmly when he watched her.

I can see that Kurumi sees it though too, and she has a really scary evil look to her. D:< Gar.

Aww, I loved the ending scene between Sawako and Kazehaya. It was so nice of Kazehaya and overall a sweet scene. Plus, when she says, “Reaching Kazehaya,” I started squealing at the title reference. x3 Also, the ending music added in there added an awesome effect. ^^

Preview

Seems like we get to see more Kurumi and development between Kurumi and Sawako, even though I’m not sure how to react on it. Seems like an average episode next week though. :/ I’ll be looking forward to it nonetheless though! :D

Yay~! Finally decided to start blogging APH. Right now I have more free time, so I might as well blog the show I’ve been trying to for months. >_< But, short episodes call for short posts.

A…pretty fun, pretty normal episode this week. This time we have more of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and America interacting with Japan and Canada.

But all I can say is, her seiyuu sounds a lot like Rie Kugimiya. O.o

Wow, it’s already soon going to be the Winter season. It seems like the Fall season went by so fast. Anyways, personally for me, there aren’t very many shows that I’m jumping off my seat for or truly anticipating. I guess it’ll be a good time to keep up with the Fall shows and backlogging then. :D There aren’t lots for Winter like usual, but a few I just want to check out. I’m a little depressed about it though, I have more free time in the Winter to blog, but there’s less shows to blog. >_<

Usually I wait for the V2 charts, but I guess I’ll just update this post when the V2 chart does come out.

Vampires…-_____-”" I feel like I’ve had enough of them, especially from the New Moon movie being released and so on. It looks like a cliche’d vampire thing to be honest. The cliche’d stereotype of vampires is pretty evident as well--from the neckbiting, to the red eyes. And the girl likes being nekkid. O.o Not my kind of thing I’d be interested in. So why is this on my list? For one, it’s SHAFT, so I guess I could try it out. But mainly, for the lulz. It looks like something I can point and laugh at.

Of course, I really hope it’s not like, “You die from my terrible singing!” or something of the sort. *shot*

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

The story centers around Akihisa Yoshii, the “baka” of the title. His academy rigidly divides up the student body into classes based on the results of tests. The prodigies are in the A class with reclining seats complete with air conditioning, but Akihisa is in F class, the lowest rung of the school ladder which is furnished only with low, decrepit tables and worn-out straw tatami mats. A girl named Mizuki Himeji is actually one of the smartest girls in Akihisa’s sophomore year, but she had a fever on test day and was pigeonholed into the F class. Besides Mizuki (who Akihisa secretly adores), the F class also has Y?ji Sakamoto, the class president who has been Akihisa’s friend and partner-in-crime since the freshman year.

The school happens to have developed experiments to summon fantasy creatures, and Akihisa decides to rally F class to take on the higher-tiered classes and seize their perks. The F class uses the summoned creatures in an all-out battle for school supremacy. -MAL

Hmm, it looks like a nice, light-hearted series. And for that, I’m interested. It doesn’t look bad, so I’ll just check it out. Looks a bit odd and weird, but it doesn’t hurt to see it.

The story follows Hiroshi Kuzumi, a 16-year-old boy who has just moved to the seemingly serene village of Jogamachi. Nestled in the mountains far away from the city, the village is divided by a river that separates old Jogamachi from new Jogamachi. Young Hiroshi soon discovers that the village’s ancient as well as mysterious traditions and customs have been kept alive over the ages. Although a bit bewildered by the new environment, Hiroshi begins to settle into his new life. While he has never been the type to win any popularity contests, he quickly earns the affection of his classmates. That is with the exception of aloof class president, Nemuru Kushinada, whose only words to Hiroshi are a warning to stay away from old part of town. Uwahh, it sounds so good~! This is probably my most anticipated show of the season. Mainly because of the creator Ryukishi07 (Higurashi, Umineko…) and the character designers Peach-Pit (Shugo Chara, Zombie Loan…). When you combine awesome character designers with an awesome creator, it makes me have high hopes. The only problem I have is being disappointed. So I won’t expect it to be amazing too much, but I want to~

Qwaser of Stigmata looked so good~ Until I saw the trailer and the genre. =_=” The sad part is, it probably has the potential to be a good series, if only they omitted the ecchi. I mean, it seems so serious and cool, and the panty shots…sort of kill it.

I have to say that this anime is just…amazing. It’s slowly climbing up to be one of my favorite animes. Anyways, we finally have the concluded first arc with Sawako, Yoshida, and Yano’s drift. However, it seems like the real culprit behind it still hasn’t been found. But I’m glad at least the three are back together. I got mad, I teared up, then I giggled. Seriously, this anime is awesome.

Also, it seems that the animation is practically back up to par. It was a bit awkward at some parts, but it’s mainly back to normal, so I’m glad. :D

Thoughts

Even though he can’t help her (which I’m glad he realized, and also because it’s in the girl’s bathroom), I’m glad he was able to do as much as he could, like standing up for her. However, it sucks feeling pretty powerless and just waiting for a result. Dx

Tbh though, it felt a bit awkward to make it a chibi. I don’t know if it was to lighten up the scene, but it kind of dulled the mood and effect.

Lol~ It was a nice little comedy interval, when Sawako was confused. I was wondering how she was going to take it, but I didn’t expect it to be funny like this. xDD

Ugh. Just, ugh. It sickens me to see this, and it angers me as well. It especially got me angry when she put her foot up on Sawako. It’s like she’s as low as the ground (umm…sort of a Thai thing: don’t touch things that aren’t meant to with your foot; it’s like comparing it to the lowness of the dirt or ground…or something like that), and it’s just plain disrespectful.

I’m glad that Yano and Yoshida were able to watch. For once it was perfect timing~ :D It’s sweet that they get to hear all of this as well~

WoOt! Go Sawako! It’s great to see her stand up for everyone and finally speak her mind so that everyone could understand her.

Finally I get to blog Kimi ni Todoke~! Anyways, another sweet, awesome episode. I’m serious…my love hasn’t died out one bit for the series. It takes a more sad, serious tone, but plays it beautifully. Even if the animation went down on this episode, the content of the actual episode definitely makes up for it and more (let’s just hope it gets back to normal soon).

Thoughts

Aww, I can’t help but feel so bad for Sawako for dazing like that. She looks so heartbroken too…? But to think she thinks about it so much that she can’t even finish the meal, it’s sad. And look at that sad (yet cute) face!

Uwah, kudos to her for being an awesome observer. I’m glad that she was able to see what was so off about Sawako, and understand that she wasn’t her usual self. Hopefully knowing this will making clearing up things a bit easier later on…

TT^TT Sawako!! I almost cried with her when I watched this. It was definitely sad, beautifully played. I felt almost the same as Sawako…that’s why I just love the anime. It can make you feel almost the exact same emotion the character feels when watching…I don’t think many animes can pull it off this well.

This was also definitely awesome as well. Glad to see a reference from before. So now it’s like their official after school run into spot? Anyways, seeing such a serious Kazehaya was definitely different, though not bad.

I was so surprised when I saw this. So sad~ Sawako seems so small when this happens, I don’t know if that ruins the mood or makes me want to cuddle her. I think I want to huggle her though, and just comfort her. I didn’t expect Sawako to burst into these types of tears though…

And when she cries here, I almost couldn’t take it seriously. The animation made it almost look like a gag or comical and not serious. One thing I didn’t like in the episode. Though I was certainly happy that she got to say it already.

*animation sucks RAGE~* Even if the animation is terrible and it looks like a whole different person, I was still kyaa-ing when I saw him announce that. So bold this time~

Omg so cute!! >w< Chibis are soo adorable, even if the animation is bad, it’s hard to ruin the chibis. Aww, it seems like the atmosphere automatically turned so much happier. ^///^

Yay!~ There’s the Kazehaya that we all knwo and love, and so adorable as well!~ Such a sweet scene, seeing him slightly embarrassed yet aggressive in saying that he doesn’t want it to happen again. So sweet~! :DD

Another really touching scene. Just hearing the “Do your best” created a sweet scene. I got a bit annoyed hearing it over and over again, but I kind of liked the thoughts answering each other. Overall, it was, again, sweet.

Aww…Sawako is so…innocent that it makes my love for her grow even more. She took things so seriously, but in a cute way. I’m glad to see Yano’s reaction to it as well, since it seemed to loosen her up a bit and know a bit more about her (thus, loving her more~).

Awww, first real moment for my second OTP for KnT!!~ Ryuu finally has some screen time to talk (most he’s ever talked in the series). Loved watching the fun interactions between the two. Ship’s already set sail~

Ooh, and I loved hearing the signature Nakamura, “Sa…”

Ah!~ Ryuu love grew as well. He was definitely cool in this scene. I kyaa-ed seeing the comforting line. Seems like Nakamura is starting to get into the cool tease roles?

They’re such great friends~ Even though there are some flaws, they’re still some pretty great friends nonetheless. I’m glad to hear the line directly that they already love Sawako. Definitely a d’aww scene from the two of them.

*claps* I applauded and was so proud of Sawako for standing up for them and actually coming out. It surprised me, but it made me happy to see her say it. Bravo, Sawako!!

Kimi ni Todoke: Episode 4

Aww, a quite sad, maybe bittersweet, episode. It has kept me on a ride of emotions, and I just love how the anime handles each part exquisitely. I loved the beginning though, especially starting it off with the Pin and Kazehaya conversation and adorable Kazehaya blushing. I started giggling like mad when they both looked at each other (lol @ exposed forehead). Ahhh~ Kazehaya is still as awesome as ever~! Unfortunately, the cliche of only hearing half the conversation takes into effect, resulting in a series of HUGE misunderstandings. It’s really sad, making me hope for it to be all cleared soon. Sigh…if only Sawako would say her point faster, or not make things sound negative when they really aren’t. But luckily, it seems that the next episode will have Kazehaya grabbing Sawako’s hand~ So it seems like things will be cleared up soon~!

Yumeiro Patissiere: Episodes 2-4

I caught up to episode 4…even though episode 5 is out, I don’t plan on watching it raw. Anyways, I have to say that I’m enjoy the show in all it’s shoujo cliche-ness. I think that’s what I like about this series… Watching the usual jerk-ish guy and the clumsy girl… xDD

One thing that makes me lol though is the voices. I really do like their seiyuus, but they’re voices seem a little old for them, especially Kashino. His voice is really deep for a middle schooler (middle school, right?). I just can’t help but lawl because their voices just don’t match their height either. Also, theirs heads at some point are disproportionate to the rest of their bodies.

For one though, Hanabusa makes me want to puke sometimes. xDD The too nice guy thing…and to top it off he’s narcissistic. xDD Even though Kashino is a jerk sometimes, I still like him because I’m sure it’s like the cliche’d jerk. xDD And I really want to pair him up with Ichigo now that I’ve seen him in the anime. Lastly, Ichigo hasn’t failed to make me dislike her because she’s just like the shoujo heroine. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such a classic shoujo that I like it.

Now…off to watch episode 5 nonetheless because it’s Kashino~!

Kobato: Episode 4

Ahh, a pretty good episode. This time, we are officially introduced to Kohaku. The anime portrays Kohaku as a female I guess, since Kohaku is given a very feminine voice. Anyways, I’m pretty glad that I haven’t read the manga, so I don’t have very high expectations, nor am I disappointed so far. Everything seems to flow pretty well in the anime, although I’d like to see a few more hints of romance between Fujimoto and Kobato. There’s…barely anything. Although the ticket scene was quite cute~ And, let’s see, the Kohaku and Shuichiro scenes were quite cute to watch. :D Although it makes me think the Kohaku should be a girl even more…

Drama

Liar Game

Well, I decided to check out the show after hearing much about it from everyone (friends in RL and online). I have to say that I’m enjoying the series very much so far~ Especially since there’s the same actress from Nobuta wa Produce (forgot her name…to lazy to look), and the actor from Hana Yori Dango (forgot his name too). So when I immediately recognized them, I got even more excited to watch the series. I have to say that I love the psychological part of it, and it makes me think! Watching shows like this is always a nice change of routine for me; thus, I enjoy it much more.

I have to say that Akiyama is my favorite character. What can I say? He’s full of win, pwn, and awesome-ness~ Who cares if he’s a swindler? xDD Sometimes I want to hit my head when watching Nao though. Let’s see, and Fukunaga is creepy, period.

Ahh, I really need to finish this series~

Music~! I’ve been listening to tons of new (well, not really “new” but new to me) music than usual. But I guess that came from my Hana Kimi obsession, since most of the actors are singers, and I wanted to check out their songs. So lots of the music featured in this issue will be Taiwanese music (and a bit of American)~

It’s kind of old news on twitter, but ahh, I’ve been so into Fahrenheit, S.H.E., and Danson Tang semi-recently. The song that I’m most addicted to though, is Qing Bao by Danson Tang. I keep replaying it over and over and over again. xDD I just love the catchiness of the song. The only problem is that the rest of his songs aren’t as fast as that one. The only other one I’ve listened to that I liked was Ai Wo. And if my Chinese is correct it means “love me” which sounds a bit conceited, lawl. Other than that, another catchy song.

As for S.H.E., I really like them now. My favorite member is Ella, I just absolutely love her voice. It’s so pretty!~ All of them sound great together, but her voice is so surprising. I definitely did not expect that. Anyways, so far, it’s hard to figure out my favorite song, so I’ll simply say Zhong Guo Hua, Ring Ring Ring, and Just Be Yourself for my top 3. Even though it’s surprising yet pretty dizzy to hear some rapping in Zhong Guo Hua, it’s incredibly catchy to me! Same goes for Ring Ring Ring on being catchy. And Just Be Yourself is song that I love listening to to cheer up. :D

Other Taiwanese music blurbs include…Confession by Elva Hsiao. The beginning in the PV is so corny and soo weird, and even though I’m not a big fan of Elva Hsiao, Confession just has a catchy chorus (I overuse that reason way too much) to it. Lots of English in it, but it fits the song I guess. I think the reason I got into this song was watching Ella dance to it in bloopers. xDD Hilarious dance btw. Not into the whole lyrics or PV though…>.> Another blurb is R. (A.?) Chord’s songs. Specifically, Ni Ceng Jing Rang Wo Xin Dong. Wahh, that’s a mouth full. It’s such a relaxing song. Another person from Hana Kimi (spirit guy!~), with another surprising voice. I love just listening to it, because I want to go to sleep afterwards…lol. Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, I put both R. and A. because I seriously don’t know what to call him. R. Chord or A. Chord? Or his real name? O.o

And random music blurbs go here. Let’s see, Taeyang from Big Bang has released his solo Where You At. Pretty nice MV and song. I love the transition between black and white. Overall, a pretty nice song, and I love the choreography. Also, Hamburger Street preview~ It’s full of win~! xDD It’s so dumb it’s addicting, haha. After hearing America’s, I decided to listen to France’s. O.o The second song sounds so wrong. x_x Anywho…I was looking around for more Bodyslam songs, and I found Believe. I’m weak for corny inspirational songs (it’s a song about picking yourself up when you fall), especially with a nice tune, so I really like this song. Especially since I’ve been so stressed from school, and it helps me feel so much better. :D And lastly, I came across one of my favorite English covers…ever. It’s just soo pro and good, ah! I was so surprised when I heard it. When I saw the perosn, I was expecting some random stuff, but it was actually really good. It’s an English cover of Heartbreaker by G-Dragon. Eden of the East: King of Eden Trailer 2

The Eden of the East first movie King of Eden’s second trailer was released yesterday. I have to say that it is really good, and I want to watch the movie. Soo badly! What happened to Akira? The thing that made me a happy fangirl though, was the part when he’s holding her hand, just like the beginning. It seems that even if he’s forgotten who she is, he’s still drawn to her and will always find her. I was sad though to be reminded that he erased his memories. Ahh, it looks so good. Winter 09/10

Seems like the chart already came out for the Winter anime season. I’m pretty disappointed. There isn’t something that I’m straight out excited for, but there are quite a few that caught my eye. It seems like a decent season though. :DD Who knows, maybe there’s something really good hidden there. I haven’t looked at the chart too closely, so I can’t be too judgmental yet. Seems like Drrr! (however many R’s there are), Okamikakushi, and Dance in the Vampire Bund will be there. So-Ra-No-Wo-To looks like some K-On! rip-off though. x_x

Halloween

(RL ramble) First of all, Happy (late) Halloween!~ Ahh, Halloween on a Saturday is much better for me. Anyways, I hope everyone had a fun Halloween~ I did, since I experienced my first ever trick-or-treating (even though I feel too old to go trick-or-treating, but my shortness makes me feel less so)…I know, shock~ Well, my family isn’t into trick-or-treating so I never did it as a kid until now as a teen my friends started getting me into it. Soo…>.> Feel free to shoot me for being so late into it.

My poor (cruel on Halloween) brother was deprived of his much-wanted experience of robbing children of their candy (pretending to get some from his bag and then dumping it in without any real candy xDD). Anddd…..let’s see. My first ever experience was pretty fun. I lawl’ed at the haunted house, because the guy tried scaring us out in front and I just stared straight-faced. xDD Only one friend actually wanted to go, so I was just dragged in because no one else wanted to. But we never entered it because the guy in the wrinkly mask made us want to turn around and leave. Afterwards, we were told it was a couples thing. O.o Oh! Also, favorite reaction trick-or-treating: the guy at the door simply saying, “Holy--” looking at how many people were at his door.

Soo…yup. It was actually a fun Halloween. :D And no need to explain what my costume was, cause it was lame.

Fundraising

Soon…soon….I’ll have an online store. Then I’ll announce it. For now, I guess I could ask everyone ways I could fund-raise. It’s not possible for me to get a job, so I need to be able to sell things, mainly. So suggestions would be much appreciated! Oh, and I need to include what it’s for. All in all, it’s for tuition for a leadership conference I was invited to go to. I’d like to go, but it’s really expensive, so I need to earn most of the money myself. But I guess I’ll explain more when the full post arrives on it. For now, I’m just asking for suggestions on how I could raise money. :D

Mandarin

I’m going to try to learn Mandarin!! >:D Well…I won’t be able to learn fluently without taking a class most likely, but I’ll learn as much as I can. At least…the basics. I’m pretty tired of saying that I’m Chinese and can’t speak it, y’know? Especially since I’ve been pressured for awhile to learn. Ever since I started, I’ve been so thankful of Thai though. xD With Thai’s 40+ consonants and 20+ vowels, it’s a smidge easier to replicate sounds. xDD And I’m thankful of having a parent to turn to. Only problem is, is that they speak a different dialect, and only my mom can speak some Mandarin (isn’t her native though). *Sigh* I have a long way to go. Pinyin is pretty hard for me though, since I have to hear to replicate the sound. Reading it is a whole lot harder to get the pronunciation correct. Soo, I’ll be off to learn Pinyin then Chinese soon!~

Felt like blogging some Kobato!~ Ahh, another cute episode. This time, we get to see Kobato help a tsundere pair. Overall, I enjoyed the episode for the cute pair of characters and the likable girl focused on for this episode. So far, I haven’t been disappointed or bored with Kobato, so I’m glad. ^^

The Kimi ni Todoke post will most likely come out tomorrow or the day after, depending on hw. And also, I’ve changed the categories to go better with my blogging patterns. It’s too much hassle for the current, completed, etc. It’s a little less organized which makes me sad, but I think it’s better for me. ^^

Thoughts

Awww, poor Kobato. I can’t imagine trying to live in that tiny little playground tube. O.o Um, on the bright side, she looks cute while hitting her head?

Ahh, Sayaka is one awesome boss(?)! I’d love to have a boss who gave me a place to live as well. xDD She’s such a kind boss!~

It’s….it’s….her!! From Chobits! XD I’m honestly not surprised already seeing crossover characters. Uwahh…she looks so pretty in Kobato as well. At first I just realized that she looked familiar, until I learned that she was from Chobits, which ended up making everything make sense again.

Taken just for the sake of an adorable chibi Kobato. xDD

And here’s the client of the episode, Mutsumi. ^^ To be honest, I like her, to say the least. She’s a cool, yet kind character. And seeing her go tsun-tsun in front of her crush is pretty fun to see as well. I guess another thing I like about her is how she acts like how any other girl would act with her crush. So…she’s a likable character, all in all.

Due to the fact that I haven’t read the manga yet, I’m still curious about what Fujimoto said about this. I wonder what he means by that. I would think that she gets to attach to someone who leaves her, but that’s just a thrown out guess.

During this scene, I honestly kept thinking that it was stolen by someone, not an accident. Then again, however, it could’ve been one. :D I’m guessing that it was after it was returned again.

And lawl at seeing the picture of Kobato trying to apologize. I keep imagining her saying it excessively. After that happened though and she got it back, I wonder why she kept it, since you can see her bring it back to her home afterwards.

And here is the main guy for the episode. The crushee, or crusher, depending on how you look at it. I find him an average character. Nothing standing out, although it’s fun to see him tease her and see her fret about it *is sorta shot*.

And pout like that. ^^ Such a tsundere-ly great blush.

Well, this is also sweet. A huge sigh of relief. Haha, I even started to feel happy for her. xD But it’s great to see the whole misunderstanding all cleared out. And, huhuhu~ the guy’s still trying to act all calm, until we reach the sweetest part (yeah, I’m serious this time!)…

D’awww!!! There it is!~ I started giggling even though it’s just an episodic character that we’ll never see and barely had development, I still found this incredibly cute. Blushy blushy makes Blossom happy~

Kohaku~ Anyways, I can’t wait to find out what role Kohaku will play in Kobato. I wonder if Kohaku will play a big or small role…>.> *person who hasn’t read the manga yet…shot*

Anyways, that’s all for now~ Another great episode. So far I haven’t been disappointment and I really enjoyed the interactions between the two characters focused on this episode. Lots of cute fluffy hints of romance. :D
