Blossom Media Center (which I abbreviate into BMC) is just a typical media blog. It includes things such as games, music, dramas, but mostly, anime/manga. Me, blossomgirl101, started this blog on January 4th, 2009, even though my very first post on here was in November. It usually includes anime, but other features in this blog includes the items mentioned before.

I think the beginning of blogging started when I was watching Shugo Chara, but at episode 33, I got soo excited, I just had to look for some translations. Subs took forever back then and I happened to stumble across Fuyumaiden’s blog, Simplicity (on my blogroll). It was the first real blog I followed, and it inspired me to blog too. I wanted to blog, but I really didn’t know what to blog about. I tried the tip that everyone had, “Think about what you enjoy and start off from there.” Well I enjoyed lots of things, and so I had many ideas before and took up a couple domains. Before BMC, I had another blog called Discoveries Online. It was so-so, but I decided to move all media stuff to a seperate blog, mainly because I wanted a wordpress blog. Then I started Blossom Media Center, which was the one blog I’d keep. I started this blog to just write some mindless short reviews on anime episodes (mainly Shugo Chara) but I didn’t actually expect to have comments. And I guess just having comments made me a super happy blogger and kept me going. And I actually got views, which surprised me. I’m no great blogger, but just having fun discussing thoughts and talking to people with the same interests.

I started off at wordpress.com, and that’s where I’ve been for half a year. But I had found free hosting, and I just couldn’t pass it up. So now the blog is held here from hosthelpers.com, which I just love the service. It’s moved again, where I’m fully satisfied because even free hosting limited me. So let’s hope for the best!! :D

Hello~ I’m blossomgirl101, or kireu101 depending on the age on my profile (kireu101 being older profiles). I’m just a typical girl, haha. Anyways, the username kireu101 came from a random name I made up, lol. But my other username, blossomgirl101 sort of came from my love of anime. I was getting tired of kireu101, and decided to make a new username to stick with. I thought of my favorite character back then (it was awhile ago), Sakura…Haruno. -___- I loved the name Sakura, and since Sakura meant cherry blossoms, my favorite plant, I decided to use blossom, and since I’m a girl, I added that in. And to make it more unique, I added 101, a fun number combo I enjoy using. ^^

Now about me. I’m just a regular girl with an extremely short attention span. I originally entered the internet through forums, games, and recently, blogging. Well, I’m an anime/manga fan, though I just find it as something for entertainment. I started off as a shounen fan but switched to shoujo as time passed by. Now I prefer shoujo over shounen but I really still like both. The genres I enjoy are romance, comedy, and/or action. I’m okay with most genres though, since I’ve recently gotten into mystery, but I will not watch any hentai, shounen ai or yaoi, or shoujo ai or yuri.

But besides from anime and manga, I have regular interests too with a life (even though I accidentally, or maybe purposely, don’t know, made my friends into anime fans). xDD I enjoy drawing, writing, playing the piano, and just hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy many different sports, though the sports I’m most into are soccer, basketball, racquetball, and badminton. Like a regular girl, I enjoy listening to music. I even enjoy singing and dancing, although I’m a terrible singer and only decent in dancing. >_<
